Now that I look at the blacked oval, which I like a little, I think if I did the black overlay I'd like no oval but I guess then what to do with the camera...I'm old and cannot do without that one or the front one... my rear so far - body color Raptor inlay, black chrome Ranger letters
Well, I've ridden in higher end SUVs with this standard and it was kind of cool but I would never attempt anything close to that....h_ll, I wouldn't even mess with FORSCAN :)
I ordered mine the first day they opened - April of '23. At that time Ford and dealers couldn't decide if private individuals could order or that the dealer had to order. My dealer thought they ordered but mine went through as a special order. Took over a year to get and my sticker looks like...
Had bot the the Back-Flip, tri and rollup. After having the 3 piece folder on my Lariat I chose the roller, IMO easier operation and much less obsttuction when all the way back. - both have the same weight bearing stats as if you're going to be putting 200-300 pounds on top of the close cover...
I may do that, after I removed the stock I'm enjoying the added visibility so much I might not put the folders in.. Regardless this a one of the simplest mods that IMO has a great benefit - great job to all that posted and the originator of the thread.

If it had a 5.0 I would go for it, probably :) otherwise my tuned RRaptor is just fine. But is that is what it will look like it makes the Gladiator look like a Lego truck.
There are a couple of threads on the Raptor section about head rests (one has extensive process IMO to preserve the trim color) and while I'm not up to bending now every time I get in I think they are so much in the way. You can buy foldable OEMs which Ford site says won't fit on 2024 and newer...
Why this is so hard to understand considering how many times I and others have explained that you don't want or need the dealer involved. One hour is on the long side, some get it done in 30 minutes. I've even given people a copy of what I created to document the ASE install.
Get your own Ford Performance account, do all the actions except the final step which is selecting install. Have an ASE mechanic push that button. I paid $50. Make something in Word that documents the "install"....VIN, ASE signature, etc. My Ford Performance supervisor that is my source of...
