Just finished installing the S&B intake on the Ranger Raptor. Very Easy to install. Need a cool day to do some testing with the draggy. I’m looking to hit a 12.9 1/4 mile with the Procal tune installed too.

Only reason I posted the 13.3 is to show that the 1/4mile times mentioned earlier in this thread can be improved with a tune. I had the 2.3l also and with the tune my 1/4 mile time was 14.1. I bet the 2.7l with a tune will see high 13’s.

It took a few runs to shave a few tenths off, but relatively consistent.

Went from a 2.3l to the 3.0 in the Raptor. Both with the Procal tune. My Raptor 0-60 is 4.93 and 1/4 is 13.30

My understanding so far is that 4WD High isn’t rated above 55mph and 4WD disengages at 25mph in 4WD Auto. Maybe you could get away with a 0-60mph with 4WD High a few times, but wouldn’t want to risk breaking anything.

I have not tried 4H for a Draggy hit. Does Ford mention a speed limit for 4H? I feel like 100mph is not a good Idea in 4H. Here is my PB so far.

I just purchased a Dragy unit, but I can’t seem to get a valid run in. I’m not sure what the problem is considering slope is good and up to 16 satellites connected. Any suggestions?

Keeping oil contamination out of the intake due to blow by will keep boost sensors cleaner and help prevent waste gate malfunctions that can lead to over-boost condition. At least that is my understanding.

Just be aware that they are not really a run of the mill mechanic shop. They work on and sell high end ford vehicles like Shelbys and GT500s. Though it was a quick and friendly experience; I got the feeling like my tune was an odd ball job that they accommodated on their down time. It was funny...

I didn’t have this issue at all. I went directly to the Ford Performance website and looked at their list of authorized dealers. I found Hillbank Motor Corp in Jupiter Fl. They ordered it and installed it without an issue.

He was carrying about a 1/4 tank more fuel than me and he was in 39° weather where it was about 85° for me.

Link the post if you find It. I would like to see people back up their claims and share tips on how to improve if possible. I’m running 93 octane and I’m basically at sea level living in Florida.
