Yo Adrian….I DID IIIIIT!
Nice! We are going to have some 45 degree weather this weekend in our neck of the woods. I wonder if 4.5-4.6 is possible for us with just the Ford Performance tune. The best I’ve seen with just this tune is 4.75.

Fastest time I’ve seen so far with just Ford Performance Tune only. She’s moving!
There you go again with so far, but added performance tune.

I like seeing yall go back and forth!

try something for me on your next run.

sport mode
Baja exhaust
Sport shocks and steering
Advanced trac button held until most of its off
Be at a complete stop.
Select the M button on the side of your gear shifter.
Use your paddles to select 2nd gear
Put the truck in 4H, 4 high.

hold brake while increasing throttle, get to an RPM, right at the moment it starts to push you, the brakes won’t hold anymore. Whatever that RPM is, launch ? there.

Don’t shift, let the truck shift.

Your 60’s should improve and then help you everywhere else too.

Try shifting yourself also, not sure what the Ford tune is doing with TCU tuning.

you may already be running this way. If you are I apologize.
If not, try it, and if you don’t run your best time, well I’ll admit I’m an idiot and don’t even have a vehicle. ?

I’m in all those setting other than hitting the M button and I use 4A. I’ve never messed with the manual mode. I wasn’t sure if the truck would shift for you if I didn’t. Wish I could run a 3.57

My wife’s truck last night. Dyno tuned on 93 octane. Had a little more in it but I don’t want to give it all to her at once…then she’d be wanting 550rwhp, 20hp for birthday, 25 for momma day, Christmas is 50 hp ?.

I tried what you suggested a few times and my best time was a 4.71. Appreciate the detailed suggestion!

My truck will build 22.8 PSI (procal gauge) or 24 PSI (dash) without pulling through the brakes. I don't sit there long to keep heat from building in the transmission. Launching in 2nd with all the boost, my truck doesn't seem to have quite enough power to match a good 1st gear launch. However, the 2nd gear method is more consistent

In manual mode, my truck will bounce off the limiter and not shift. I manually shift at ~6k as any higher ends up in the limiter. Have previously experimented with manually shifting and yet to better my best 1/4 time letting the truck shift instead.

Negative DA and a 4.63 this morning.
Sport, 4A, Advance-trac off, 1st gear/auto, tires 39psi

Nice! So you are building boost to 23 psi before you launch? The most I’ve done is 5-7 psi.

I don't wanna be a creeper and look through your post history, can you tell us more about your DRL's you have? I know some guys here tried the kit from Thailand.

Always all the boost when launching from 2nd.

For first gear launches I've tried everything from 5 to max. Typically when launching with max boost in first, the truck will spin and fall out of the powerband briefly resulting in slower times. The 4.63 was near max boost, had wheel spin but the truck recovered quickly. You can see it in the acceleration curve compared to the 4.69 run which was at lower boost.
