Tirerack shows the rr-sized ko3’s as S rated, 112mph. Someone who has received their truck could verify on the sidewall.

R would be 106mph.

You predicted Diddy.
What didn't Diddy do?

Back on topic, I haven't topped out but did have it at 101 on an open flat empty road. Felt plenty stable and like it had more left, but looking at the tire structure I can see why the rating is what it is and why it's electronically limited.

I hit 101 on my non-raptor 2.3L XLT after break in miles just because I like to say I went that fast with each vehicle I own. Wasn't at that speed more than 10 seconds but it wasn't struggling. 107 for a Raptor would seem low for actual "top speed" given the engine is much better but as mentioned it could be limited by the programming.

I’ve hit 130mph a few times. Still very stable.
Way better than my f150 raptor at 130.

I've had my r raptor up to 100 mph many times, and it always seems smooth and stable. Every bit as good as my 800 hp shelby mustang. Beyond the focus of the k03 speed rating, consider other issues such as driveshaft and aerodynamics. I won't ever completely trust the middle connection/bearings on the 2 piece driveshaft. You absolutely don't want a failure at high speed, even tho most failures are at the dragstrip. And although the raptor is heavy, I suspect it gets fairly light on the front end over 130 to 140. I'm ok with keeping any races to 100 and below.

No, 130-140 mph feels pretty solid. Doesn’t get light.
All that rust on the driveshaft was scary 🫣 enough at 55mph. One piece is best, was going go carbon fiber but said it could get to hot for a daily driver. Stayed with a 5” aluminum 1 piece.

Good choice. And one piece aluminum is lighter, so less rotating mass. Had a DSS Al in my mustang and loved it. Thanks for your thoughts on getting yours to 130 or above.

After traveling to an abandoned air field...I was dissapointed to find that the RR is limited to 107mph. Just to feel better, i switched to kilometers on the run back.

interesting...my V6 diesel gets to 124 (pretty easily considering the weight and drag of the truck). here tyres are coded H, aka 210km/h.

Where did you source the driveshaft?

I wanna go fast, are ya'll custom tuned to go above 107? Ford "Calibration" still limits to 107.

That’s exactly the thing that is bugging me! My 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 Sport would do 110 mph, and it was starting to run out of air at that speed. My RR, on the other hand, is limited to 107 mph, and it’s leaving at least 20 mph on the table. I was really hoping that someone in the community had already figured out which electronic “switch” to flip, so this one could run as it was engineered to run..
