Just came back from a trip and saw a lot of wet loose gravel blasted the side of my doors. I didn’t care much for those inserts but thinking about getting some now as I’m trying to protect my black paint at least from rock chips. Would prefer some metal ones as most of them appear to plastic.
No the code is all we can see and also any updates that are done in the background. It is cool hopefully in the future we can see freeze frame that would be helpful.
As a tech it’s really helpful actually. I like seeing codes as soon as a see I have an appointment to see if codes are related to any recalls or bulletins. However it only shares data I believe when you connect your truck through the app.
Sounds normal. Ticking is most likely just the high pressure fuel pump or the injectors firing or both, which is normal.
Used to have a focus rs that had a very loud hp fuel pump it was annoying so I understand the concern. It would be a lot more obvious and pronounced if it was valve train tick...
I did exactly this when I got mine and haven’t had any rubbing whatsoever after offroading a few times. A good option however is instead of cutting the metal tab behind the molding I actually just bent it back and It hides that white retainer thats now exposed.
I agree! There’s not much of a difference in my opinion, I feel like it’s a slightly stiffer ride but really not that noticeable. My main goal was to get more ground clearance especially when airing down the clearance with the 33s was not enough for me.
