  1. FORScan Tire Circumference Calibration Process

@Hande, I can’t help. This is the only thing I’ve done with Forscan. The RR has different software than my Lariat. Perhaps someone with a RR can help out. I’m sure you are not the first RR owner to attempt this particular calibration.
  2. Backup assist calibration fix

I tried to use that feature for the first time over the weekend and gave up on the calibration. Although I rarely tow, thankfully it’s not difficult for me. I’ll have to try your sticker method and find a large area to run the calibration routine.
  3. Factory PPF Paint Protection Film - what’s covered? Worth the price?

I have the factory PPF. Get an aftermarket PPF, the factory coverage is minimal. I now have 3 paint chips at the back of my hood which is not covered by PPF. Not happy…
  4. Spray on Bed Liner from Ford or Not?

I had the factory sprayed liner and trifold cover in my ā€˜21 and ā€˜24 Rangers. For light duty, as is your use case, it’s fine. The factory outsources the work locally near the factory and it adds a few days to delivery (I had to wait four months from my order date, so what’s a few more days). No...
  5. FX4 Suspension package.....what do you think?

The damping on my ā€˜21 Ranger Lariat 4x4 was terrible. I like the damping on my ’24 Ranger Lariat FX4 w/2.7l a lot better. The truck doesn’t oscillate now as compared to the last model after going over speed bumps or pot holes.
  6. Ditch Light / A Pillar Light Brackets

I have the FSE brackets and I’m happy with them.
  7. Extremely Poor Fob performance (Raptor? Lariat?)

This is my 3rd keyless Ford, 2nd Ranger. I’ve never had the problems you are describing. I walk up, touch the handle, it unlocks. Fob in pocket, press start, it starts. Every time. Nine years running.
  8. Lets talk light brands!

I’ve run Rigid Industries light bars, ditch lights and chase lights on my Jeep and trucks for the last decade. They have performed flawlessly and provide exceptional light.
  9. Should I?

I got what I wanted and needed. 8900mi and I love the truck, even with its idiosyncrasies. You can see what I have in my signature block.

  16. Rigid Industries D-SS Pro Driving Light Pods & FSE-LA Mounts

I was out and about the other morning and captured these video. First transitions between low beam and pod lights. Second transitions between low / high / pods Low / Pods Low / High / Pods
  17. Rear brakes shot

2016 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. And I’ll also note that after the Jeep was lifted 4.5ā€, braking was significantly worse (35ā€ tires instead of 32ā€ tires). Because of that, I put a big brake kit on and eventually went up to 37ā€ tires. The big brake kit (larger rotors and stock pads) resolved the...
  18. Rear brakes shot

My Jeep wrangler rear brakes wore twice as fast as the front brakes. It is a known wear pattern on the wrangler.
  19. Rear Seat Headrest Replacement

The obstruction is far less than with the stock headrests and hardly noticeable in the rear view mirror.
