Same deal with me. I don’t have faith a Ford tech doing "warranty work" can replace a whole dashboard without screwing something else up or damaging the replacement. BMW had to pull my dashboard for an M3 I owned and digned up a number of other interior panels in the process.

Yes! I put on a dash cover and forgot it existed. lol
Seriously though Dash Designs Sedona Suede (black) looks great and cuts the dashboard glare completely. Makes the interior feel more comfortable too. Not for everyone though, I get it... but I've come around.
I'll throw this out there. 303 Aerospace Protectant does a heckova job masking the white plastic scratches and blemishes. Should last between regular washes but will need to be reapplied. It can also help prevent scratches, as it makes the surface slick to the touch.

Honestly, between the crazy glare and my OCD over the dash, I might look in to a dash cover. The Aussies have one that just covers the plastic portion of the dash and it looks pretty nice.
The plastics in this truck are definitely soft and will scratch pretty easily, as I've found. My truck was actually delivered with a few small blemishes on the dash that I didn't notice at delivery. Doh!
I just received word an order I placed on August 13th has a build date of October 14th! I lucked out and snagged one of the allocations they've been trickling out the past few months.
Dealer ordered it as stock, which means I'm unable to track it via Ford website... bummed.
