  1. Squeaking sounds (seemingly from undercarriage)

I had to ask friends if they knew a good service advisor, I was referred to a dealership about 30 minutes away where I received excellent customer service. They had my truck for two weeks and even replaced a shock/strut thinking that was the issue until they determined the rear body mount bolt...
  2. Squeaking sounds (seemingly from undercarriage)

That’s what the first dealer told me. I had to find a better dealer and SA.
  3. Squeaking sounds (seemingly from undercarriage)

I get my truck back tomorrow, I'll ask my SA.
  4. Squeaking sounds (seemingly from undercarriage)

It turns out it was a loose body mount between the cab and the bed. The dealer ordered a new mount and bolt. For what it’s worth I could hear it with the windows up AND windows down.
  5. Noise from AC compressor. Normal?

Has anyone had this fixed by Ford, meaning Ford paid for the repair? My dealership is willing to attempt this fix but in order to get paid by Ford for the work, they need evidence (VIN#) of a vehicle this was already completed on. They've called Ford Hotline and checked active TSB's and...
  6. Squeaking sounds (seemingly from undercarriage)

My truck has been squeaking / creaking over washboard or rough roads. They pinpointed it to the right rear strut/shock, which I'm being told will be replaced under warranty. We'll see how long this process takes but I'll be thrilled if it fixes the problem. Been dealing with it for about a year...
  7. New wheels for the new truck: 17" Method 709 wheels +25 offset

Dude, thanks a ton for posting the 709HD's! I've been eyeballing them, they look great!
  8. Airbag recall fix didn’t go well (wait if you can)

Mine went well, no issues from my dealership on the recall work.
  9. Looking for a RR poly dash cover to kill sun glare!

We all have different needs. ? Glad it’s working out for you.
  10. Looking for a RR poly dash cover to kill sun glare!

Mine is tinted as well, which reduces heat but still get plenty of glare. Dash board plastic and angle just lead to gnarly glare in the afternoon/evening.
  11. Looking for a RR poly dash cover to kill sun glare!

On the Dash Designs model there is cutouts for all sensors. I believe they worked with Ford on the patern because their product is sold at Ford parts desks. There is a slight cutout for the secondary glove box, which may aid in airbag release. With how light the cover is, I have no concerns it...
  12. Looking for a RR poly dash cover to kill sun glare!

I highly recommend Dash Designs. While not form fitted like Coverking, their pattern is very good. ? I went for the black Sedona suede, kinda matches the other suede like material. Eliminates all glare on the dashboard itself (which is way more than I've ever experienced with any other vehicle)...
  13. Wasn't Expecting This MPG From a Ranger Raptor

It's a brick on wheels. Anything above 65mph you're gonna notice a pretty big hit. 75-85mph on Arizona freeways is killing my mileage. (15.5 average) lol
  14. How to fix scratch/scrape on RR dashboard?

Same deal with me. I don’t have faith a Ford tech doing "warranty work" can replace a whole dashboard without screwing something else up or damaging the replacement. BMW had to pull my dashboard for an M3 I owned and digned up a number of other interior panels in the process. Good luck, let me...
  15. How to fix scratch/scrape on RR dashboard?

Yes! I put on a dash cover and forgot it existed. lol Seriously though Dash Designs Sedona Suede (black) looks great and cuts the dashboard glare completely. Makes the interior feel more comfortable too. Not for everyone though, I get it... but I've come around.
  16. Tough Weekend

Hey, upside is the part isn't terribly expensive and easily replaceable. Sorry it happened but it could've been the dash!
  17. How to fix scratch/scrape on RR dashboard?

I'll throw this out there. 303 Aerospace Protectant does a heckova job masking the white plastic scratches and blemishes. Should last between regular washes but will need to be reapplied. It can also help prevent scratches, as it makes the surface slick to the touch. Make sure to apply an...
  18. How to fix scratch/scrape on RR dashboard?

Honestly, between the crazy glare and my OCD over the dash, I might look in to a dash cover. The Aussies have one that just covers the plastic portion of the dash and it looks pretty nice.
