Nope. The depth ranges from 5/8-3/4" Different as you go from front to back. If the piece is too thick it bulges the center of the cap up. You can cut it with a really sharp knife. I used a fish fillet knife.
Check out the Bronco Forums. Its been happening way before the 24 Ranger was around. There are hundreds of cases on there. Some owners had them replaced (its an engine removal) only for them to fail again after a few thousand miles.
Has anyone had success finding a matching paint code for this silver front valance. I am trying to touch up some rock chips and have tried Honda NH623M Satin silver and Ford UX Ingot silver mentioned in other posts. They are both too dark. No, I don't want to paint it black. Thanks!
Holding up well. I still get a little water dripping down the inside of the bed that blows up under the bed caps when it rains. I would need to remove those caps and seal all the holes to eliminate that.
