Would one of you that have these installed take a picture of how the main tube is mounted to the vehicle. Not where (body) but how the bracket on the body is mounted to the slider itself. I'm deciding between these and the Goat Fab sliders.
On the Goat Fab sliders I don't like how the bracket...
I beg to differ. I once took my vehicle to a Chevy dealer for an oil change and a tire rotation. They ended up cross threading 2 lug nuts and just completely snapping off another. Don't trust dealers, check your vehicle before you leave.
Hey everyone, I'm having the same issue that @CT801 is. They don't seat correctly. I have attached a video, not sure if I did it correctly, but if you can view it, you will see how loose it is. It is the same on both sides, the video is of the drivers side. I have also attached a picture of the...
Wow, those look awesome. On the website there are 3 options: white, red, or orange. The one in the pictures above is white with red/orange outline. Can you please specify which option that is, because there are pictures of an ALL orange one and an ALL white one. Just want to make sure I order...
After your trip to Death Valley, did you have to make any modifications? I'm curious as I never thought 35s would fit w/out a lift for anything other than mall crawling.
I hope these are what you are looking for. To be honest, I wouldn't trust tape either. However, they did tell me the updated bed (that doesn't need J braces) no longer has the holes the rivets go into.
That's how they are supposed to work. The pins get snapped off and then you push them through, after de-burring both the pin and the hole. Read my tip above and keep the pins with the rivet that you took if off of so it will fit correctly.
To answer your original question, I had the same issues with the previous KO2s and was hoping the new KO3s would be better, but they were not. I changed them out before they hit 200 miles. Personally Mickey Thompson MTZ tires have been on my trucks since 2016 and they have been great in the rain...
I have also just finished installing this seal. I only have 1 issue with it, but I knew about it before it arrived. Thanks to Chris from Digital Twin Developments for his awesome communication the moment I put in my order.
The only issue I had was the pad seal on the top, that you haven't put...
Welcome,
I can just tell you my story. I came from a 2016 Colorado Z71 that I loved. I was debating between the 2024 Colorado Bison and the 2024 Ranger Raptor. I had driven the Bison early in the summer and was waiting on finding a Raptor to drive to just say I drove it before putting in my...
This is a good example for "why" I changed them. (just my opinion and everyone is different)
When I drive my truck, I turn all the nanny crap off, including traction and stability control. There is no reason (again, just my opinion) I should have to drive in 4 wheel drive in rain to keep the...
The change had nothing to do with size. I've had KO2s on my last truck from the factory and they were horrible in wet and completely useless in snow. I changed to the Mickey Thompson Baja tires and they were amazing in wet, snow, and offroad. I gave the KO3s a chance but after the first rain...
