I just did an I-95 run from Florida to Maryland today, highway running, highway back ups, driving thru DC and in town driving, and I got a majorly impressive average gas mileage. I wasn't towing. I had myself and about 200lbs of luggage and crap with me. I had the adaptive cruise on, speed sign recognition running with cruise set at speed limit plus 5mph.
When getting onto the highway after caffeine is was using "Sport" mode, as soon as I was up to speed I switched over to "Eco" mode. While I had all of the nanny features most of the time, on a long run trip like this turning everything on, including active lane keep assist, made the long drive much easier and less tiring. These Rangers appear to have everything to run Ford's Blue Cruise except the Blue Cruise software itself. The only complaint here is the truck kept telling me to keep my hands on the steering wheel.....when my hands were always on the wheel.
