Watching the pros install my amp and subwoofer this morning made my anxiety skyrocket (three hours felt like forever!), but the final result is SO worth it – like, a thousand times worth it! $730 worth it (I already owned the subwoofer and box, but the cost covered a new amp, wiring, and labor).
The sound quality is unbelievably better.
I've turned down the factory JBL bass and the subwoofer is handling all the low-end frequencies. Plus, they installed a handy bass control knob in the aux panel, so I can easily adjust the subwoofer without fiddling with the amp.
And the best part? The subwoofer can be quickly disconnected and removed whenever I need extra cargo space.
SPECS:
*Rockford Fosgate - 250 Watt Mono Amplifier (R2- 250X1) [installed with Velcro - no drilling - in the empty cubby area between back seat and hybrid battery]
*Eclipse 10" Subwoofer #86100DVC [old school]
*Bass Control Knob [spec unknown]
