Has anyone found an aftermarket solution for frozen wiper blades? My past vehicles had heaters for the wipers, or a strip on the windshield that helped with the ice. I find the wipers on the Ranger have been getting very iced up with the weather we've had in upstate NY and the defrost function doesn't do the trick.

Only solution I've seen was adding extra methanol, or maybe it was ethanol(?), to the washer fluid. Basically, you just want to lower the water content so it won't freeze.

Bosch winter (snow) blades are fully wrapped in rubber. I haven’t tried them on my RR yet, but they do really help with ice problems.

When cold weather gets extreme, Bosch SnowDriver beam wiper blades can stand up to even the harshest conditions. Their robust, enclosed design prevents ice and snow from freezing on the blade, ensuring consistent, streak-free performance. The flexible beam design provides uniform pressure for a clear, safe view through the worst of winter.

I haven’t driven much in truly nasty weather, since unluckily Spokane has been very dry. The few times I did, I was very unimpressed with the poor climate control inside - the rear side windows especially have no airflow and they fog up. You can tell this truck was designed in a climate where it never gets cold…,.. OTH we don’t get the rear AC vents in the USA, that is simply mind boggling.
