Anyone tried the Diode Dynamics low beam replacement bulbs

In an XLT? Are they worth it? Link here.

I put Morimoto headlights in my Bronco and they are worlds better but those are complete assemblies. I put Alpharex lights in my F-150 and really wasn’t all that impressed by those. I’m just looking for better light output.

Dosclaimer - I’m 66 and my night vision just isn’t what it used to be, hence my quest for better lights. I realize a Lariat would have better lights, but I have an XLT.

Personally, I wouldn’t purchase anything else from Diode Dynamics. I purchased their trailer hitch brake light for the 2024 RR after seeing one of the members here demonstrating the installation process and singing its praises. Yes, the installation was simple, but connecting the Diode Dynamics brake light triggered multiple failure codes. When I contacted the company, I found out that they were aware of the issue and suggested that I try to run a power wire from one of the other brake lights. The rep said that he didn’t know if it would work, but he had heard of other people trying. I went back to the post on this forum to try and warn others that might purchase their product believing that it was ”plug and play”, and I was subsequently banned from that thread. Based on my experience, I believe that Diode Dynamics has inferior products and terrible customer service; let the buyer beware.

Thanks for the heads-up. As it turns out I have LED reflector lights in there now so the bulbs can't be changed anyway.
