Auto cargo lights

Does anyone know how you can make the cargo lights in the truck bed come on when the doors open or tail gate is down? I have my interior lights set to auto on and they turn on correctly when doors open and close but the bed cargo lights do not come on. I have to manually turn on and off the cargo light button by the left steering wheel area where the light switches are located. In the manual it says the cargo lights will come on automatically when I open the doors but they don't.

However I noticed that there is a ford bed light kit and it claims to add the bed lights to the door lights. So I looked though the instruction but don’t see how. Love to do this too.

They have bed lights, yes.

And it says Installation ties the lights to the cargo light ... bed lights will illuminate with a press of unlock on the factory key fob

I spent the better part of a week trying to do this with my bed lights. Best I could ever do was very dim light. Finally gave up. Those lumen instructions are not at all clear. I wound up using a wireless switch kit with a couple remote switches.
