All Pics are in front of Plant. Also in one of the parking lots way in the back there looked to be 300 to 400 rangers lined up, all colors. Couldn't get close [ see sign. I was in co-workers Honda with a camera ] so the numbers are a guess but they are pumping them out!

....."no picture or video taking devices"...... I'm guessing that only applies if entered?

Thats correct. But if we were in a f150, we probably could have driven right in. I just thought that the array of signs was interesting and pretty cool

I especially liked the "Absolutely no foreign vehicles allowed!" sign.

I'd hate to be the guy to roll into the lot in a Chevy. I'd imagine that's be worse than even a Hyundai in a Ford lot.
I have family from Detroit, and you wouldn’t want to be caught dead in a Japanese car in the 1970s. You might be threatened with actual violence.

My dad worked for GM but drove a Ford. He had to park in a separate lot further away from the plant.

That makes sense. The GMs are far more likely to break down than the Ford. It wouldn't make sense to make them park further and risk being late when they inevitably have to walk to work.

I worked for all of the Big Three US automakers as a Union Millwright off and on for 30 years. All 3 had rules about foreign cars parking out back. That's not enforced as much as it used to be. Good for the Michigan Assembly Plant. :)
