Thinking about taking advantage of the 25% off Ford factory accessories. Anyone know how the Ford factory bed extender mounts to the rear of the bed? I have a ‘25 Ranger Raptor without a bed liner and there are two tapped holes, but neither are near the center where you would expect the pivot pin to be? My old F-150 came with it, so I never had to mess with installing it. I’m also thinking about ordering the track with adjustable tie down points. Ford does a lousy job with providing info on their accessories. Any info on either of these factory accessories would be very helpful.

I’m trying to decide if I should do the accessories before/after getting the spray-in bed liner or after? Right now I’m thinking bed extender before and track/tie downs after?

Has two plates with bolts that use the threaded holes you mention. I have one for sale (Cant ship, already assembled) but it's a simple install and a decent product. Sucks to put together. I had to remove it as it didnt allow me to keep my plastic bin and a suitcase (I travel a lot for work) in the bed on the tailgate side of the divider when folded in.

Went aftermarket for mine, which meant drilling three holes on each side for mounting the bracket. I drilled them then had the liner sprayed to hopefully seal well enough to stave off rust before mounting the bracket. Worked great.
