I was relocating the unit up into the bumper using a Ranger Trailer Plug Tuck Kit (and also adding a Leer 300200 T- Harness for a third brake light) and I broke the little black pivoting latch piece that holds the plug onto the main socket. The latch is located at the 12 o’clock position where it collects hardened mud and cannot be cleaned before removal, that is another :;()$& brilliant Ford engineering decision! It should face the bottom or one side. I had to lever the grey retainer outwards with a flat screwdriver and it broke the small black part’s TINY hinge pins! I found a repair kit but it is listed for older models, can anybody give me a good 2024 RR part number? If I can find the repair splice kit I can remove the latch parts and swap them into mine.

I may just secure it back with small nylon ties through the base of the wires. Or maybe Leer can sell me just their version, it would be way cheaper, but having to add seven new splices defeats the purpose of adding their T-harness in the first place!
FYI the Leer plastic plug mates perfectly with the Ford 7 way socket, but the retaining mechanism is entirely different and appears more robust.
Thanks.
