Digital Cluster Speedometer num – Smooth Update Animation Possible?

Hi everyone,


On my 2023 Ranger Raptor with the full digital cluster, I’ve noticed that the speedometer numbers don’t update in a smooth, single-digit animation. Instead, the readout jumps in larger steps (like 1, 3, 5, 7), which makes the animation feel a bit choppy.


I’m wondering if there’s any way to make the speed display update more smoothly, one unit at a time. Could this be adjusted with a software update, Forscan coding, or some hidden setting in the cluster? Or is this simply how the system is designed?


Has anyone here looked into this or found a solution? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Accelerate slower? There is always this tradeoff in numbers between update rate and readability.
