Not sure if all but my RR has vibrations in the 40mph range. Had tires rebalanced. Still there. I work at a dealer. Got two more RR in. Drove both. Both has vibrations. Not sure if I'm just picky but just doesn't seem right. Guys here staying deflate tires to 35 or less from 39 as directed. But that doesn't seem like a valid fix. Compromise mpg for better ride? It's it the tires? Or is it normal on trucks with aggressive tires and we live with it? Thoughts?

I’d like to see if I could assist with your vibration concerns. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage so I can start looking into this on my end?

I can, but being honest I have already sent your team three different issues, none of which ended with a solution or worthy response. Not trying to be nasty, but my first was cam phaser failure at 900 miles, which I have yet to get a response from anyone at Ford on the case file. I had to replace the front drive shaft, no help from Ford, but thanks to a member here who gave me all the info and part numbers to give to dealer. I guess I am just shocked that Ford comes out with a flagship performance Ranger, and does not seem to care about the issues, even those reported here and other forums. You would think, like in the case of cam phasers that are known issues, and yes on the 3.0 used on other models as well, that Ford would want to get it right. Again I digress. If you think it will make a difference you can PM me and I will elaborate on this issue, as well any others.

Just FYI, after rebalancing my tires, did nothing, still vibrates. However I did a test and swapped my tires out with a different set, and guess what? Vibration all but gone. So it has to be tire related.

Never felt abnormal for me, but I’m also coming from another off road focused truck with 33 K02s. This thing feels incredibly composed and stable at all speeds / conditions relative to that. You def sacrifice some ride quality with off road tires like this, but I must admit, they’re an amazing improvement relative to off road tires of a decade ago that were a horrible to live with on a daily basis.

I have a 2024 XLT/DC 4X4 which, from new suffers from vibrations somewhere within the driveline. The vibrations appear random but are best displayed within the 50-80kmp/h range. Slight inclines aggravate the problem and after multiple inspections with my local dealer, they advise them to be a normal characteristic of the truck. This I cannot accept particularly when you consider the cost involved. Temperature doesn't appear to be a factor nor the road surface itself although for obvious reasons can be felt better the smoother the road. Effects can be felt in the seating, the footwells, the steering and the pedal. Oddly even after alignments/balancing, the problem persists. What are your thoughts? My dealer appears disinterested which is very frustrating.

I’m going to say it possible wheel and tire issues, as it is with the majority. Vibration occurs when the wheels and tires aren’t balanced properly, especially at certain specific speeds.

I’d venture to say the wheels and tires aren’t need to be “Road Force“ balanced. This is not regular spin balancing but an actual matching of the optimal balance point of each wheel and tires aren’t need combination.

Thanks for your reply mate however the vibrations that can be felt have originated from day one in the rear of the truck. The resonance, when bad carries down the driveshaft and into the cabin. Ive noticed recently that in slow-moving traffic such as parking lots etc, it will occasionally display the same symptoms. As the owner who drives it every day, Ive come to learn that the vibrations are worse under the slightest load but oddly cannot be reproduced on demand. Somedays it appears trouble-free, on others it's just a two-and-a-half-tonne vibrator which is driving me insane. Ford's inability to address the issue leads me to believe they acknowledge the problem exists but are reluctant to divulge why nor offer a solution to the problem before leaving the factory. This being my fifth Ranger, I refuse to accept the dealer's comments. After all, who pays $70000 for a truck that is so uncomfortable to drive?

It’s a common issue that is normally demonstrated as in your original description. You have a possible cause and effect, hope you get it sorted out.🇺🇸

Do you have wheel locks installed? I had front a vibration between 40-50mph on multiple sets of wheels, swapped the wheel locks out for lugs and that fixed it. Given how heavy the wheels are I'm surprised it even made a difference, but it's worth a shot if you haven't tried it.

Wheel locks are mounted to inside wheel, connecting the wheel to the hub. Hub is solid and unaffected by the lugs, this is why they’re balanced without them. So, they don’t affect the balance of the wheel. 🇺🇸
