We use a foam cannon too some times. I still end up using a mit once soaped up. I see others just foam cannon and rinse.

Premium soap, two mitts, two buckets. One bucket with soap, one with water only to rinse mitt #1 after soaping.
Mitt #2 is used on the wheels and under fender wells.
Squeegee and shammy to dry.

This.
Pollen season is starting here in the South and I may purchase a foam cannon to fight any swirls from the beginning.

Turtle Wax car wash concentrate
5 gallon bucket with Grit Guard insert and bucket dolly
Garage Monkey Ultra-Soft car wash brush with 8 foot handle
Chemical Guys Chemille wash mitt
Liquid X wheel wooly (strictly for wheels)
Craftsman 18 volt cordless leaf blower
several large microfiber cloths
Turtle Wax and Dry spray

Assembling all this stuff together is a lesson in logistics.

Seriously considering getting a foam cannon, but need to do research on the process, will browse the forum or ask here, any suggestions guys?

A quick wash/cleanup for her.

  • Jax Wax Wash N Wax for cleaning duty
  • Patterson Wheel Cleaner for wheels
  • Adam's Polish Wheel Woolies (Both small and large)
  • 303 on tires
  • Dry with Extra Thick Microfiber Towel
  • Meguiar's Quick Detail to finish off

Limited time so couldn't do a full detail with Hydrosilex ceramic coating however I did to it to the wheels.

For at least 20 seconds making sure I lather the backs of my hands and between my fingers.

Oh, my truck? I use water and car wash soap along with a telescoping wash brush.

:p

Jeez man! I'm blinded! That Lightening Blue is like a mirror!
Ditto on the wheel woolies, they get into every crevice in the wheels.
The PVD finish on my Lariat wheels is nice, but it doesn't have the shine of true chrome plating. At least they are easy to maintain, just gotta keep them protected with wax.

I gotta hand it to you guys who live in the snow/rust belt areas, driving and keeping a clean vehicle during winter takes a whole lotta work and discipline.

I was at my local HD yesterday, there was a line of guys at the restroom sinks waiting. Looked as though everybody was scrubbing up to perform surgery!
