Installing 2024 gauge cluster on 2019 XLT?

Can the gauge cluster on the xlt model be changed. Like adding a tach etc. I have a 19 xlt now looking to get a 24 model

Yes and no- You have to upgrade the entire display module to the 12" Lariat module, and tweak it in Forscan to make it work. There a thread on here where a member did that. He's in UK though and paid a premium to have a aftermarket Co.- RaRanger in Aus.- to get it and preprogram it for his truck. The Module itself is around 1200, but theres a $400 core on it. Ford may or may not accept the 8" screen back as a core.

I ordered my XLT with the 301A package which included the 12" screen. I can add a basic tachometer on the guage cluster through the settings.

you're confusing screens, that 12 inch screen is the centers screen, not the gauge cluster screen. My understanding is you can't get the gauge cluster 12 inch screen unless you get the Lariat or Raptor.

if you mean basic tachometer, you mean just the line, you don't have the 12 inch screen that's the 8 inch screen.

I was looking at the build and price ford web site. It says u can get the 12" screen with the "xlt high equipment group".

i know for the '24 that refered to the center stack screen. 10" is standard, 12 with the heated seats, power rear slider, etc. Gauge cluster was 8" only for everything except Lariat. don't know if that's changed for 25 they made some other changes.
