Here's a look at how the key fob is customized - the keyfob cap can be changed out for different colors and also a screwdriver foldout version (can be used to install / uninstall accessories).

Looks like the screwdriver head can be regular heads (flathead, phillips) or a torx head.

Sweet! Looks like it has remote start and frunk open button on the key fob.

I see the open frunk button, but which is the remote start -- the "2x" button?
Yeah that’s what it looks like to me, although I’m not sure that remote start is a thing on EVs (never owned one). I hit remote start every time I get in my vehicle. Gets the AC/heat going and lets the engine idle down a bit.

I think the sole purpose of the fob is to lock/unlock the doors/rear window and lock/unlock the transmission. The screw driver is a little bit ridiculous…if you need to change out a panel, use a real tool.

Any tool that can do multiple jobs will do all them poorly.

I see five buttons on that fob. How many do you see? You identified three functions. Also, which button locks the transmission and why would anyone ever do that, from a fob no less?

The transmission lock is not a button, it’s via radio or proximity sensor allowing the car to move (eg. be put in drive). No fob in the vehicle, no movement. Not sure what the solution for towing is (no fob in the vehicle)…I’m sure every EV company has solved this.

As for the buttons on the current fob prototype, all of that may change before actual production.

Remote Start on an EV is basically a way to turn on the HVAC before leaving.

The drive function requires the key or Phone in cars with PAAK to be in the vehicle before you can move the gearshift.

The drive function requires the key or Phone in cars with PAAK to be in the vehicle before you can move the gearshift.
So called Minnesota winter, desert summer, and pet modes.
