It doesn't look too bad. I would personally rather support a company that developed something than save the money and support people who just stole a design and made a cheap copy.

Hard to say now days who stole whos Intellectual property. It could be similar to another yet not stolen just different. Just like that Pepsi-cola .

I recently ordered a Leer topper shell through a local retailer. They told me that it shows they can order one for the 2024 Ranger. They think its the same mold as the fifth generation Ranger but the back lift window is likely the thing that changed on it. Has anyone heard about this or confirmations that leer is making 2024 toppers? I do not want to get my topper and have it not fit my 24 ranger.

If you don't mind, would you share the specific LEER model you ordered and the price you are paying? Just trying to cross-shop and compare different options.

I ordered the LEER 100XR with the keyless entry, carpet liner and roof rack tracks and it was $4150. My truck is supposed to get here in 2-3 weeks and topper is supposed to be here in 3-4 weeks. Ill post picture when it all comes together.

That seems like a good price, when you consider the Ford model is a model down (i believe it's the 100R) and probably doesn't have the options you added.

I originally thought the 4k price Ford lists was high, but after looking at many options it seems like that is pretty standard for what you'll be paying for a new cap.

I got a quote on the ARE CX Evolve and figured I'd share. It comes out to about the same price ($4170) as the official Ford cap ($3939), but has way more features.

The ARE price includes install, which the Ford capper doesn't include install, bought separately for an extra $480 according to the website. The Ford topper would include the j-braces and their installation, which I think is $200 or so. Shown below are the options I included in my quote, the ford topper does not have: tilt+slide front window (only tilt), no windoors (only standard sliding), no keyless, and no tracks.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I stopped in my local Leer dealer today since they won't return my calls, and it seems as of last Friday Leer no longer will sell caps for 2024 Rangers because of the J braces. Even if I purchase them and have them installed they will not sell me a cap.

More than a year later than yours, just got my own quote for the same topper with probably the same features at $4400
