I have a 2024 Ranger Raptor and love it. Had a 2019 Ranger XLT before. My wife and I are both short and that side step is high for us. Plus I had no grab bar so I use the top of the truck or the steering wheel to get it. Is there a way to lower the step? Any suggestions, and no my wife will not use a step stool to get into the truck.

Trident Motorsports in Austin installed these for me. Wife is barely 5 ft even, she can get in and out the RR with ease

Just out of curiosity what is the distance from the step to the ground? I have a 2024 XLT with factory running boards and they are too high for my normal use, best thing going smear mud on your pant legs.

Congratulations, I also had a 19 Lariat and have a RR ordered.

I am 5-10 and must have T
-Rex arms, was hard to reach my tie downs in the bed so I bought 18" & 24" vehicle hold down double loops and looped them thru the oem tie downs then brought the other end of the loop up to the bed cover and had an inexpensive D ring hooked to one of my clamps for the retractable bed cover via either a zip tie or short velcro strap then I clipped the loose end of the nylon loop tie down in the clip. I could reach in and unclip the loop and hook a ratchet strap etc to it and hook it to another. No more climbing into the bed. I could also grab the loop below the d ring and use it to pull myself up at the side of the bed. I didn't have side steps but I could step on the tire. I'll see if i can find an old pic.

Mine are buried on a hard drive but here's an example . This is referred to as a soft loop lift strap, shorter ones where labeled as soft loop tie downs these run in 12-19" range.
