We installed the EGR SUPERGUARD on our Ranger, and I thought it looked really good. The installation was done entirely according to the manufacturer's instructions.
This weekend, we were on our way back from vacation and spent a long time on the highway with cruise control at 160 km/h.
After about 600 km of driving, the component suddenly ripped out of its mounts and hit the car. I wasn't expecting that.
The instructions say you can't use it in a car wash. But they didn't say you shouldn't use it on the highway either.
I've emailed the manufacturer; we'll see what they say.
