Hey everyone,

I just joined the wait for a new Ranger XLT FX4 in hot pepper red with a bunch of other options.

I want to thank everyone for all the great ordering info, especially the information on the X-Plan. My employer hasn't advertised it to staff, but it turns out we're on the list. This made the ordering experience stress-free, and it looks like I'll get the truck for about $3500 under MSRP (TBD when Ford picks the order for production).

I've been reading about all of the brutal delays for orders placed last year, I feel for all of you! The dealer told me to expect to wait 3-5 months for delivery, does this seem reasonable at this point?

Thanks again!

It does.
Ordered mine on feb 29, 2024 and took delivery on May 16th. It was a lariat with a spray in bed liner and was transported to Louisville, Ky via railroad.
Good Luck!

Totally reasonable.
I ordered Feb 10th and had it on 24th May - even with spray in liner, just 3.5 months later.
Congrats on your purchase - it’s a great truck and your colour with the FX4 is a nice pick 👍

Did you order with the 2.3 or 2.7? I'm partial to the 2.7 after having both in the Bronco.

Stuck with the 2.3. I don't see myself needing the extra power, and will better use of the higher MPG.
Here in BC there is also a luxury car tax that kicks in at $55k CAD. With the X-Plan I should fall just under that threshold with my current build. Going to the 2.7 would have put me over the line, so it would have cost much more than the Ford adder!
