Hi All,

Newb here - Just got a new to me 2023 Ranger WildTrak (6G) with a 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel engine and it is in deperate need of some new tires so I thought, I might as well go all out for this first mod!

It currently has some Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT (255/65R18) tires. I want to go down a wheel size and get bigger tires.

Creeping around the forums, I understand leveling kits, a bit about suspension, etc, etc. I have decided to get a 2" leveling kit from Elevate Suspension and get some Method MR703 in black (17x8.5, +335mm Offset) based on some other posts and what I am after (that slightly raised and flush look).

I want to get some 285/70R17 wheels and have narrowed it down to either Nitto Terra Grappler G3 vs Falken Wildpeak A/T4W because I want the offroad rugged look in a tire without giving up too much when it comes to road noise and comfort!

My question is does anyone have any feedback on these tires surrounding noise and comfort? I would be driving on (pretty bad) roads 95% of the time and the other 5% off-road would be sandy, beachy type conditions.

I'm open to any other tire suggestions as well as I see alot of on-road all terrain and off-road all terrain options on Tire Rack

I live in the Cayman Islands so it doesnt snow here AT ALL. Being from the islands, I need to get everything shipped/freight-forwarded in so I want to make sure I get what I need.

Thanks in advance and pictures to come, I promise!

Check out the the tail end of this thread, a lot of info on the AT4W. They are one of the lightest AT 285 tires and they have a noticeable wider profile than the KO3.

Discount tire has a serious deal right now on them as well. These will be my next tires, I only hear good things about them.

Thanks for that but I won't be able to take advantage because I'm not in the states and Discount Tire doesn't ship to address (needs to go to a store).

I would ideally order from Tire Rack (which doesn't have that deal) because they offer to mount and balance tires on wheels ahead of time which will save me money by the time it reaches me.

I am more so looking for feedback from anyone who has used either of those tires and thoughts on comfort/road noise which I know will be worse/louder across the board than stock
