package options and resulting cargo penalty

Hey, for my intended use cargo capacity is important and each package / etc seems to come with its own weight penalty. Has anyone already cracked the code on this?

Some is published:
4x2 1805lbs > 4x4 1711lbs
2.3 4x4 1711lbs > 2.7 4x4 1542lbs

Some is not published:
XLT vs Lariet
Sport vs FX4

Plan with the Raptor (lowest, IIRC) payload in mind. If that's not enough payload for your needs then you'll probably want to look at other options. Not trying to be a downer, but realistically that's the easiest way to make sure your needs will be covered.

I went from a full size Ram 1500 Rebel to a Ford Lariat FX4 and I can get a extra 9 lbs into my Lariat . Payload Lariat 1487 vs Rebel 1478.
