I did mine (from tus as well). Once you’ve taken out the retainer screws you can basically pull them off. The front ones have flat clips that go into the fender at the front, so pulling those out first is easier, and then work your way to the back popping the clips out. Wouldn’t recommend just trying to yank them off. I took my time and didn’t break any of the factory clips so I reused them with the new flares. The replacement clips that came with the new flares were a more brittle plastic than the factory ones, so I didn’t want to use them if I didn’t have to.

The flares connect to the clips with a horseshoe like shape (open end pointing down), and the opposite side of the clips pop into the fender holes (with plastic “wings” that hold them in). So it’s easier to pop the flares off the clips by twisting it back (toward yourself) from the top edge of the flare, away from the fender and give it a tug back and up a bit (slides off the clip easier that way). Then pop out all the clips from the fender (tool to press in the clip wings is easiest). Slide them on the new flares, line up with the clip holes in the fenders and push them in (they’ll click in, you might need to give the flares a decent push in a few spots).

Pretty easy job.

Use painter’s tape along the painted areas of your bed where the fender flare meets the body to avoid paint scratches. Take your time and be careful as you pull. I had to partially remove the flares to do the bed reinforcement braces.
