I have a 25 Ranger FX4.

The Rival Radiator skid says it doesn’t fit FX4 (or Raptor) due to the hooks being different. Ford says the hooks are same part number FX4 or non (Raptor IS different).

Any ideas? Rival says FX4 requires their hooks…

Been there done that. I reached out to them to ask about this. They responded that the Ranger they got their hands on had plastic caps where the tow hooks are - it was a non-FX4 XLT. They sent me photos:

Obviously our XLTs come with the same tow hooks, which I let them know. They still seemed confused saying that the FX4 has different mounting points because it comes with a steel plate and not a plastic one, but I showed them this video that they actually feature on their site and said you can install just as @ADVNTURR did in his video:

I'd say buy it from somewhere that offers returns just in case but I couldn't find a single reason why you wouldn't be able to install it on an FX4!

Open box on their website and Gov discount. I went ahead and ordered it. Will report back!

Fixing one wrecked under the front for my son.

Dude nice! You know I gotta ask, how much did you pay for it?

It's a really nice skid plate. I went with the Radiator and Engine plates only so far. Love the cutout for the oil pan drain. I will say though, first oil change coming up and I'm going to have to remove the skid plate to drain from the OEM drain. Then I'll be installing a UPR ball valve drain plug which I can use with a hose and should make it easier to drain through the skid plate next time
