to each their own but why the hate for this knob? (genuine question - no sarcasm).
I have huge hands and the knob doesn't bother me at all.
I genuinely find it to be finicky to adjust. It just seems to beg for more grip ability.

Random aside....I also "ended up with" the small screen based on dealer choices available when I bought it. I think I prefer it to the larger screen....maybe just me settling because it's what I have, but I've seen the big screen in several other Tacomas and it just looks to big.

Is this from a 2024 rav4? Part # 90010-23059?
Yep, I can confirm it is that part number. Such a huge upgrade for the price. I will say, the one I purchased was the same part number but the description had it listed for a 2019-2023 RAV4.

Yeah I couldn’t find a 24 part# but from pics 19-23 on eBay looked like it .

same. have you seen anyone upgrade to the bigger screen? Is that even possible?
I've see it on Tacoma World....But the guy had to switch a few of dash pieces including the push/start button to make it fit.... And he has it set up without the volume knob because it is in between the vents.... I'm gonna install an after market stereo just waiting to see what I need and how big to go.... I've seen a few Alpine/Kenwood 11-12in ones that look good

Added the Rav4 volume knob, big improvement with the rubber texture and greater depth; glows at night, too. Funny thing is my wife's '22 RAV4 XLE does not have this knob, hers is more like the 8" Tacoma knob.

I’ve been looking into seeing if it’s possible to swap the 8in for the bigger monitor. It looks like that if we remove the 8in, the bigger will fit into place. Just won’t have the volume knob in the middle.

I've heard it's plug and play but.... You may have to get new parts for the push to start button to fit... Check Tacoma world... There was a guy over there that did it.... Also may be better to get an aftermarket screen because I've only found used ones on ebay for $2k...im guessing brand new from Toyota will be a ridiculous price

thanks! Yeah I literally saw that same post on that forum too, the second after I posted this here haha. Def expensive! But I’m sure eventually I could find one at a pick and pull yard
