I just saw them trying to change the tire. And I had my tools to do it, so why not help. I do the same when I'm out on the trails.

I was looking at 1700+ miles with potential bad weather. You never know, I had the tools so why not bring them. I've had bad experience with road side assistance and I rather just fix it myself I'm able to.
