Have you had any experience with Bison or CW limited?
I'm trying to figure out who to go with. Both seem like they are the exact same. (I'd assume likely sourced from the same manufacturer)

I have the Bison on my 2025 and have had no issues with it. Installation was fairly straighforward although the instructions as provided could be a little clearer. There was at least one Youtube video from someone that did an install that was helpful. If you are in the GTA I believe they have a couple of places that will install it for you.

Thanks! How long have you had it? Does it seem secure flipped up?

Have had it just over a year now - picked it up just after getting the truck.
We have used it a few times flipped up and it has seemed fairly secure although most of the time if I need it open I have only needed to have it folded open onto the last segment so it is flat.

I'm curious as to how the prop rods work. From the pictures online I assume the prop rods for Bison attach to the 3rd panel where as the CW limited look like they just tension the 3rd panel up against the cab (which I don't think I'd be a fan of)

I will post some pictures when I have a chance - but you are correct that the prop rods hold the the panel up against the rear of the cab. There was padding I put on to protect the cab but I can see it being a concern if you were to travel like that a lot

I just got a teamz flip back tonneau cover. Very similar to the bison or cwlimited except there are blocks on the cover near the cab so when you fully open it, it doesn't touch the cab. There are also prop rods. It feels sturdy, but I haven't taken it for a highway cruise to test it while open yet.

Oh great. Now I have another brand to look into 🙃. Hahaha jk

Thanks for mentioning them! I didn't know they existed! I just looked up the cover and I really like the idea of the blocks!
