Good day everyone,

I have a 2023 Next Gen Ranger XLT.

It seems like there's a few people that has done the Subwoofer under the seat for the Next Gen Ranger, and it seems like the Non South African Rangers does not have the jack tucked away in that storage area under the rear seat? I have my old subwoofer from my 2018 Ranger, it would fit there, but now they have added the bracket there that holds the jack, did anyone else have this issue and how can once remove that bracket without damaging the bodywork?

NA RR's don't have that bracket there. Looks like the only way to remove it is by drilling out or grinding away tack welds.

Tack welds in red circles - will need to grind or drill out, may destroy bracket in process. If drilling, take care not to drill through floorboard. Should be more on a similar tab on side where arrow is pointing at. Will need to clean up grinds and coat with something to prevent corrosion.

You need to use a spot weld cutter. It will only remove the material around the weld without going all the way through.
