Weathertech Floor Mats installed in XL with vinyl floor

Not many people have the vinyl floor in their rangers but I'm very happy with mine. Super easy to clean and durable. I believe Weathertech is the only company that makes a specific product for the vinyl floor (although I think other floor mats would fit well anyway). They include adhesive mounting plates that stick to the vinyl floor and keep the floor mats in place. We'll see how well the adhesive stays attached. Fit and finish looks fantastic. They have some places around the sides where they aren't laying down completely but I think that was from being folded in a shipping box. A hot day should help them mold to the truck.

i am a fan of the rubber floor mats. if i didn't bring my wife when i went truck shopping, i would have gotten the rubber floored truck.

So those mats are attached to the vinyl floor with adhesive? I would guess that they aren't easily removable for cleaning purposes? They look good in your truck!

i think what he was saying is there is a little tab that gets glued down that the mats hook to.

Should have taken a pic yesterday, sorry. So there is a pad that it attached to the vinyl and it indexes with a clip in system built in the floor mat. The rear one piece mat has two total and the front mats have two each. I am worried about the adhesive not being strong enough when pulling away from the floor mats which clip together very tightly. I think that can be a non issue if you put your hand under and hold down the sticky pad before trying to separate it front the mats.
