Audio Install (UK)

Hey folks,

Finally got my little upgrades done, so sharing!

Quite a bit of work getting it all dialed, but the end result is very very good!

Component list:

• Front: Audison VOCE 3 way - AV1.1, AV3.0, AV10
• Rear: Audison VOCE 2 way - AV1.1, AV10
• Sub: JL Audio 8”
• Amp: Audison Forza AF C8.14 bit
• Amp sub: Audison SR 1.500
• Controller: Audison DRC AC Digital Remote Control
• Interface: NavTV ZEN-A2B / DSP6A-A2B
• Light bar: Lazer LINEAR-48 ELITE - wired to AUX Switch6
• A-pillars: Custom builds and trimmed in matching Alcantara
• Sub: Custom fiberglass enclosure
• Other: Lots of Dynamat!

Man that is the EXACT sub configuration I want. Which JL Audio sub did you get? I saw on Crutchfield they have this JL audio 10 with box for $999.99 for the 5G, but of course no sure if that would fit the 6G model.

Or did you get like a 10TW3 with a custom box? My goal is to just use the existing BO sound system buy add one of these for better bass.

It's a JL Audio sub 8" (I think) but with a custom enclosure built. The pre-made one does look like a good option, not seen that before. We went with the JL Audio as they sound a bit tighter than the Audison equivalent and some other subs. I had the 5g prior, does look like the same holes under the seat, I cant be 100% sure though!

Ah okay. If you have the exact JL model you got that would be helpful to me, as there's a range of power options for the different 8". Do you feel like an 8" hits pretty hard? I am thinking a single 10" but if you feel like an 8 bumps, that could be an option for me. But alas, I still need to get a Raptor first. Just dreaming for now.

Will confirm the exact model, but yes with the 3 way up-front, the sub (8" or 10") is more than sufficient, and I have it only perhaps 70-75% turned up with the DSP controller.

That's an incredably tidy installation. How come you kept the orginal subwoofer?

Original sub isn’t used, just left there rather than remove. Might take it out, save some weight

Was any sound deadening used in this install? Wondering if it's required/worthwhile.

Edit: I see lots of Dynamat was indeed used!

Yes front & rear doors, and under the rear seat.
