I've had my eyes on the M&R 40in Light Bar PRO for awhile now as it seems like a popular choice on these forums.. but just saw f150leds released a very similar product

M&R: 2024+ Ford Ranger Raptor 40in Light Bar-PRO
f150leds: 2024 - 2026 Ranger Raptor Paladin MKII 42" Curved CREE LED Bumper Bar – F150LEDs.com

I don't know anything about LEDs or the technical specs.. can anyone help me understand advantages either has over the other? From what I can tell, f150leds is ~$100 more expensive but is 2" wider with another set of LEDs.

You can save yourself a lot of money and just buy a light bar at same length and install . I went with a single row of lights for cleaner look. Pretty easy.

I would do your research on f150 leds. A quick google search and you will see what I’m talking about.

As one of their ambassadors I have done a lot of work with them and they have been excellent. I see people complaint about the grill lights but if you closer most have ordered the old model lights and thought they purchased the new set. That’s not on F150. The wiring kits are top notch and well built.

i actually just installed the f150leds new gen grill marker lights last weekend... they do look great, but definitely overpriced for what they are... and also very stupid with big of holes you have to drill.

i ended up ordering the M&R PRO lightbar yesterday.

The f150leds version does look really good and near OEM. How was the condition of the lights themselves? Did you have any black specks or indentions in the amber tape as noted in a different thread?

My understanding is that inside the harness is just the positive and negative wire. I plan on cutting the harness so I can feed the wires through a smaller hole and splicing them back together.

Yeah I saw the same thread - no black specs in mine, but there was similar indentions in the amber tape.. overall doesn’t seem like the QC you’d expect when taking them out of the box with a product that’s over 2x the price of alternatives… regardless the lights look & perform like they’re OEM when turned on.

And cutting the wires would be a good call. I don’t have much experience with wiring things I general so was hesitant on doing any of that.. ended up taking the whole grill off and drilling from the back, and it was still sketchy
