Since you have a '24 and '25 RR, @cc1999, a question for ya. Does your '24 RR have the black, steel engine skid plate that is on the '25 RR? I'm suspecting your '24 RR does not have the engine skid plate.

I have not looked under them to compare, but I am happy to check it out for you and report back.

Thanks for checking. Has me wonder what happened to the engine skid for my buddie's '24 RR.

Does it by chance need to come off for or during routine service?
Maybe the service shop forgot to put it back on?

I had to remove mine for the oil drain. My buddy did the first oil change on his and tells me there was no skid. He was recently looking at sumptin near the input of the front axle. I sent a photo of what I saw here, and he replied my looks different. In my picture he saw the skid plate and mentioned he did not have one.

He is still stumpted. I'm suspecting someone stole it as it's only remove two bolts and loosen two bolts to remove. Or, Ford missed it during assembly. His RR was one of those that sat in the nearby storage lot.
