Perhaps I missed it. I liked the "Under the seat mount" for a dual bander. How is everyone getting power. My last truck was a f150. I ran it through a firewall grommet. This Ranger has no room.

Anyone using the fuse block?

I went through the grommet by the steering column. Ground right above where the grommet is, positive to the pre-wired #2 (IIRC) overhead switch. This is on a raptor, don't think other models have the switches.

On the raptor there was plenty of room in the grommet, there is a little nub / space above the factory wires for aftermarket.

Thanks, I'll look for it.

I decided there isn't room in my 25 Ranger in the firewall, at least for the cable I wanted to run. Since I wanted to get a coaxial a cable in anyway, I went with a high current fused (at battery) heavy wire through the floor under the back seat. It goes into a covered fused distribution block and lower current fuses are on the output. The ground is always the chassis since none of my equipment has a ground floated internal negative bus.

If I had a 1980 Motorola Micor negative would be back to battery, but ground isolated negatives went away when I was not looking.
