  1. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

I apologize I missed your note. Love the rack. Absolutely perfect height IMHO and works "perfectly". Still shocked at just how well it accommodated the ROAM cases and Maxtrax. Plus, the bonus of chase lights and ditch lights. FYI, Eibach just released 500 pound rear spring and will shortly...
  2. Full Height Bed Racks???

We beat the crap out of @AdventureLab rack for 8 days in Baja and heading back for 4 more days later this week. The rack is entirely flexible but in this case "perfectly" holds 2 x 128l Roam cases and either 2 or 4 Maxtrax Extreme boards while staying fully aero.. Highly recommended.
  3. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

True yes. The ADV Fiberglass will add enormous clearance but have several thousand dollars of installation cost. We already had to slightly Sawzall and open the flare upfront. It rubbed the last connector off at the rear of the front driver's side flare from "turning" (not from jumping and...
  4. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

ADV fiberglass run a whole ko ADV Fiberglass which make the best Bronco Fender Flares are significantly more expensive by the time you get them installed. It's all relative once you start running 37" and portals.
  5. Ranger Raptor with Eibach 2.3inch springs

Yes on Portals. I posted full rig in rig builds. Search for "ultimate". No springs on rear yet and no rubbing on the rear (but the rear bump stops got lots of work). Eibach has promised 2 levels of upgraded springs in the fall. Both same length. One "slightly stiffer at 500lbs and one "much...
  6. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

I should have a solution this fall that I know about but can't share yet. So, a little trimming and being done with it for now. Yes, the 74weld rims are amazing but over $1k each in silver! They bought up all available Dakar rims from Method.
  7. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

+35 so pretty much doing everything possible. It's just the shape of the hole and "everyone" in the hardcore 37" community has said the same (e.g. Exodus 4x4, 74weld, FMI, etc.). Ford Australia designed the vehicle and they don't do 37" over there.
  8. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

Great minds think alike - already speaking with them . . . Still a lower priority then larger gas tank and wider fenders with more clearance.
  9. Ranger Raptor with Eibach 2.3inch springs

Just ran these in Baja last week. SOLID! We still have rubbing under full load with our 37" Falken tires so not yet "perfect" but definitely help.
  10. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

Kind words. Thanks. FWIW, "not sponsored" means I have a solid day job, no kids and an amazing wife! Trust me, I don't take any of this for granted . . . . Here's the GPS mount and we'll be adding a mic holder for the radio to it this week. AAL posted a YouTube video about their mods...
  11. Ranger Raptor ultimate accessory source

Hey Greg; Just back from Baja and posted a Trip Report. The FMI stuff was stellar and I can't imagine running 37" without your bump stops. Called the shop twice for some adjustment advice and the support was exemplary. Well done sir! Plus all of the underbody protection and light bar...
  12. Ultimate 37" Ranger Raptor Build & Baja Shake-Out Report

You may have seen posts from some of the teams on this build and here's my own report after a week of hard driving in Baja with @expeditionxoffroad. Overall, the rig exceeded expectations. The 18.25" of clearance is a game-changer and it was ear-to-ear grins tossing it through the Baja twisties...
  13. Baja Build - Portals, 37's, Gear, Fuel, GPS, etc.!

Your video was a HUGE inspiration in this build. I can't thank you enough for posting in earlier this year. Yesterday was day 1 with EXO in Baja and was a blast! The rig drove far beyond expectations and was faster and more nimble than most of the full-size Raptors with many of them dragging...
