Nice! Not to hijack the thread but what is the purpose of the black thing behind the rear window? I've seen them on other vehicles but I don't know what function they serve. Light bar? Cosmetic? Roll bar?

It's a roll bar (rather aesthetic in my opinion). All European Raptors are equipped with it with the electric bed cover.

I Googled it. It's called an adjustable chase rack. You can use it for the things you listed and more I guess.

No, it's not adjustable. I think we should be able to put cross roof bars on it.
