Vision D Window 17x8 is $103 and weighs 34.7lbs each
Similarly sized alloy wheels like methods are 25-28lbs so the difference is certainly not negligible.
I had AI mockup an image of our ranger with D window style steelies. What do you all think? I've heard they are a bad choice due to being a bit heavier than aluminum wheels. They are so cheap though and I think they look great.
XLT 4x4 not FX4- plastic splash guard
I've done 2 oil changes myself so far and it takes about 5 minutes to remove it. I put it back because its not too much of an inconvenience for me. Would be faster if I start using my wireless impact wrench. If I recall, there are some wires just above...
This is great information for anyone looking to change their wheel/tire setup from something different than stock. It can get tricky with all the options available and clearance requirements. This is also why I made a dedicated thread on here for people to upload pictures of their non-stock...

These are in channel and work fine on my 25 XLT. Every once in a while they stop the windows from going all the way up and I have to reset the window parameters which is easy to do.
I should be good on clearance. 2.5 leveling kit. I need to do some research to confirm whether or not "x"mm offset will give the same stance on 2 different width of rims. I think a lot of the guys go for -35mm, -25mm, -12mm, 0mm on 9inch wide wheels, so I believe I have to account for the...
I think you've helped me decide on what I am going to get when I need new tires, just trying to figure out what offset to get a little bit of poke. Thank you.
I could be wrong but I am assuming it also depends on what you're towing and how you drive it. Pulling into heavy traffic with a 7000lb boat will probably be bad for the engine. Towing a 1200lb gheenoe and easing up to speed is probably okay.
I am between 285/70 on a 17x9 and 255/80 on a 17x8.5. It seems the sweet spot for an aggressive stance on 285s with a moderate amount of poke is +25mm offset. This wouldn't be the same for a 255, correct? Can anyone recommend an offset range for about 1-1.5 inches of poke on a 255?
Hitting the voice command allows you to control some things.
But for those that don't know, holding down the button for 1-2 seconds bypasses the build in Ford controls and allows you to use google assistant, and possibly siri (I have android).
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew how to...
I really DISLIKE the XLT radio and AC knobs, they're so small and lack any kind of contrast. Can someone 3D print some larger, gear shaped knobs that snap on over the AC/radio nobs?
A headache rack that is simple and isn't gawdy would be nice. I like the ones with louvers.
