The matrix, AKA glare free, headlamps turn off specific portions of the high beam LED’s when approaching oncoming traffic or pedestrians to prevent from blinding them, without fully shutting off the high beam every where else. It’s a pretty cool function really
The only time I’ve ever gotten a flat tire was from running over a whole ass muffler in the road. The IHRA was in town and I assume it fell off of one of those
I don’t believe they go through and just rewrite a few lines. I’m pretty sure they just re upload the entire tune even for just 1 line of code. If this is the case, that would rewrite the aftermarket programming and put stock logic back in
My last F150 I financed at 0% for 48 months. Cost me $1600 per month. No point in putting cash down if it’s free to borrow. ROI on money market at that time was 5% so I decided to let my excess grow instead of plopping town $77k
I went from stock bead locks to the ford racing 17” wheels and stock KO3’s. I think they’re 9-10 lbs less per wheel. Only cost me $620. Acceleration is greatly improved. Braking, is also improved but to a much lesser degree.
I’m not for or against spray in bed liners. I usually just buy a rubber bed mat. I just thought that number sounded high. Total bed surface area is about 62 sqft and (according to line-x) bed liner weight is ~.7 lbs per sqft, which equals about 43 lbs. that’s not zero lbs, but also not 75 🤷‍♂️
How have you confirmed it weighs 75 lbs? That seems like a lot for the spray in bed liner. Is that the weight of the liquid liner or after it has flashed and cured?
I don’t know if your bed cap will fit a 2026. There was a design change from 25-26 that made it so even bed covers fastening systems have to be re-designed to fit MY 26 rangers. Call the manufacturer of the bed cap and verify with them
I’ve noticed out west they’re a lot more expensive (AZ, UT, CO, CA, and apparently WA). I’m guessing there’s a much larger market for purpose built off-road vehicles out that way
I may have missed it but I hope you ended up with desert sand. It seems like there’s too damn many gray scale/neutral color vehicles on the road. At this point in my life I pick anything except white/black/gray/silver
