The extra heat buildup from the surface of the pipes no longer being perfectly clear basically burned the light pipes and the LEDs. High power LEDs create a TON of heat especially at the firing end. The headlights were not salvageable and were effectively destroyed.
My correction did not update. The VC part number you found actually has the silver trim, the black plastic trim piece and both parking sensors included. Everything that has a yellow square next to it is included with N1WZ17626VC.
You can also call up whatever parts supplier you are looking at...
VC suffix is the complete assembly that includes the parking sensors. P suffix does not. Holes will still be there though. I have not had that piece of the truck but they should be easy to swap over. Call whomever you are ordering from they should be able to get you the cheaper part number.
Be warned as the AUS Raptor and the EU Raptor differed as well. I believe it's a LHD vs RHD thing. See if you can find that data from a EU Platinum or Wildtrak. I did not try the coding from a RHD vehicle on my truck as I realized it was different between the two.
It will work just as the auto high beams worked before. It will still give you the blue high beam telltale as it did before. Just different performance.
I'm working on trialing more changes in the HCM right now, I'll let you guys know if I see any more success.
If you have that error, there is a coding error in the HCM. Outside of that, no other coding mismatch will cause that error.
Your issue should be in 734-01-04, make sure your value you gets changed to 00A0 D1. This sets the overall module to the new programming. If you could, send me a PM with...
Hang your finger off of the spoke with your arm sorta limp. The truck knows that you have your hands on the wheel based on how much torque the steering rack has to use to fight your input. If you add a slight bit of weight with a limp arm hanging from a finger or thumb, the truck knows you are...
The old F150 guide references it, it's a requirement for the coding to change the software mode in the HCM. Not noted on our spreadsheet however as I retrieved the info from a EU market truck. It is required as otherwise you will get a "High Beam Assist" failure and a few codes for incorrect...
