Even though I disagree with many of the viewpoints in this thread, I can agree with this one. Ultimately this is a negotiation between employees and employer. This is frankly none of our business. I’m sure any of us would be none too happy if our employment and salary negotiation was to be made...
I’d say it’s a bad idea simply because you’re taking what might be the best suspension in a factory truck and making it worse at its job. A tower spacer is just as easy to install. To each their own though. The adjustable suspension is one of the killer features for me so I won’t do anything...
Perch collar is a bad idea on the LiveValve shocks. It changes the ride zone of the vehicle. You’d need to get it revalved for it to function like it was intended. A shock tower spacer is probably a better choice. Upper control arm replacement if the total lift is above 2.5-3”.
Nearly every truck has a dive in the front when unloaded.
Will it need it? No otherwise the factory wouldn’t have done it that way.
But if you don’t like the stance, yes you could.
They have to do something exclusive for the Raptors. It used to be Code Orange. But now it’s Shelter Green, even for the 24 BRaptor and FRaptor. I’ll make a deal with you though. If you can convince them to offer Code Orange, then we’ll give you Shelter Green!
It’s the sail panel. All these unibody trucks have to be stiffened somehow since the body and bed are one piece and would likely twist. I’m actually kind of jealous of how deep the bed is.
I think there’s a lot of folks in your same shoes.
For me, I hop in the car and it connects to wireless CarPlay while my phones in my pocket. Picks up right where I left off on my playlist. Instant easy tunes.
If anything the stubby is better than what every other Ford comes with which is a wound coil potted into the shark fin. I don’t want to speak for everybody, but in 2023 who is still listening primarily to terrestrial radio anyway? The sound quality is abysmal, and you only get to hear music that...
Just about everyone that did the stubby swap on the 5G reported no issue with reception. FM antenna design is very forgiving. Car antennae are already compromised to start with since they’re a fraction of the signals wavelength (about 1/4). Coiling it up to get rid of the whip antenna has been...
That is a Maverick bed. The ranger bed will look a little difference from this. It will have the side lights in the bed but not sure if that’s on all trims.
Very first vehicles off the line are going to be press and marketing cars. Very low numbers since they’ll be training workers and also do more thorough QA/QC. Three weeks of that and then retail orders appear to start. Press cars are very important as that's when we’ll start to see reviews and...
Velocity is brighter. But no biggie since I posted a Velocity Blue picture yesterday so you can see what it truly looks like. Velocity is definitely a better color
That’s not Velocity Blue. You can tell from the lack of side marker and from the front graphics that this is a ROW ranger which doesn’t offer Velocity Blue. That is likely Blue Lightning
