The truck is 17' 7" long. You'll likely want a 20' deep garage to park it somewhat comfortably but obviously anything 18' or deeper can work if you're willing to squeeze. As @goalieThreeOne said, just grab a tape measure and check.
You should be just fine width wise as long as you, and anyone...
My dealer just checked into this and said the $1,000 preorder discount would not apply to Raptor even though we're now retail orders. If anyone else can confirm that would be much appreciated!
He also didn't confirm whether this discount actually exists, or if that CarsDirect article was just...
That's true. There's no price protection on stock orders, but earlier this week Ford instructed dealers to transition their first stock order to retail. Once the ordered is changed to retail it is immediately price protected.
You've got $17,000 of options, fees, and taxes included in that price. When you remove those the base MSRP in Canada is only about 6% higher than US pricing based on today's conversion rate.
It's possible that a regional rep could assign that priority. I guess I need to reach out to my dealership and see if they can do the same for mine. That will get your order pulled first from your dealership and put you ahead of everyone else when Ford starts scheduling.
Highest priority code possible is 01. Not sure how you got to 03 as that typically requires the intervention of FMC themselves. Dealers cannot assign a priority code higher than 10.
This is a great question. I was wondering the same myself. Not sure if Ford can/will distinguish between the original stock orders and those who ordered as retail from the very beginning. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
Unsure. Might sell it, might trade it in, or might hold onto it. Probably one of the first two. It's currently got 73k on it and I'd say it's in superb condition for Michigan.
Yeah, it's been a hell of a ride and we're only like a month in! Glad to hear others confirming what I was told. My dealership has been spot on with this process since the get-go so I'm grateful to have them on my side. Ford on the other hand...
My dealer just switched my stock Raptor order to retail, apparently per Ford's most recent bulletin. As such, I received an order email directly from Ford and am now price protected. Can anyone confirm this bulletin? I haven't seen it myself, but the dealership GM assured me Ford gave clear...
My 2014 Raptor is starting to feel old and outdated. I'd like something smaller, faster, more capable, more comfortable, and more practical. The Ranger Raptor fits the bill to the tee.
Interested in this as well. Amber DRLs would be cool if its as simple as a Forscan adjustment but I won't spend $1,000+ on aftermarket units. Since the turn signals are separate, I'd be surprised if Ford baked in amber capability but you never know.
What info exactly are you looking for? It's a valved exhaust similar to the F150 and Bronco Raptors. Quiet, normal, sport, and Baja modes are selectable by a button on the steering wheel.

Sorry I can't help you resolve the issue, but this is exactly why important vehicle controls should have hard buttons. Pretty lousy design choice on Ford's part.
