Fixed it. Turns out the bump stops have built in plastic threads and you just rotate the bump stop counterclockwise until it raises up a bit. Got it right on the first try. The hood requires a little more force to close now, which makes sense.
Itās maybe a 1/8-1/4ā too low on the drivers side. Is that something that can be fixed with hand tools and a little patience? Iām not a mechanic, but would like to adjust it since it bothers me every time I notice it.
thereās a bump stop there - is it as simple as raising the bump stop up a...
UPDATE: FIXED!!!
So after all the useless surveys Ford sent me that I guess just went into the void and after all the complaining and emailing w the original dealer I bought from, nothing had happened - I was beyond annoyed.
But as luck would have it, I was attending the Ranger Raptor Assault...
Hope you all get to do trucky things with your trucks in 2025!
Got to take mine to my favorite place - Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge- today to close out the year.

Material quality was fine - I wouldnāt want it any thicker/stiffer as it was already a bit of a challenge in cold weather to conform to the shape of the fender well. I just got the regular version, not the XL.
I hope they last - they were ridiculously expensive.
The front and rear went on just fine, but would have been easier with a lift or if each corner was jacked up when working.
I was lazy and just did it in the driveway. I do wish the hardware was all black - the stainless screws kind of stand out. And the plastics inserts that the screws go...
Got these pieces from Musolgy - a nesting console organizer and also a little āsecretā compartment that fits in the console lid.
The organizer trays are much better than OeM and have some padded inserts that keep the rattling down.
Update: service mgr at the dealer where i purchased has ordered the correct switch panel, but it is on back order with no estimate yet for restock.
My working theory is that this was a part shortage, and they put the known incorrect panel in so that the truck could ship.
Ok so the mystery continues - I looked at some other 2024 RRs being advertised on cars.com, and it looks like they DO have that button!? What the heck?
