I accidentally hit the fold switch all the time while driving when I'm meaning to adjust the mirrors. On that note, I wish they would have included mirror position memory along with the seat position memory. My 2011 has it, my 2006 had it. 2024 regressing.

Very odd. I have a 2024 RR built in Michigan this past July. It has the button you lack. This situation is much like the other forum member who has a non-Raptor rear seat. Where is the quality control?

I assume they built it with the wrong switches, e.g. XLT window switches instead of RR. I forget what forum I was on but a guy bought a new truck and the rear doors were from a different trim level than the front doors. How that passed QC is beyond me.
They installed a Lariat rear seat in my Ranger Raptor. Ford has not been very helpful with the dealer so far

I actually can’t believe the mirrors are not included in the memory seat function. I doubt think I have ever been in a care with seat memory that didn’t cover the mirrors as well. It makes no sense really. When I first got my Raptor I thought it was broken, but alas no! Just a stupid little thing but every time another member of the family drives the truck I have to re-adjust the mirrors. First world problem I guess but very strange omission nonetheless.

As others have said, that's not the right part.

Btw, your name isn't Kelvin, by chance?
So far ford has just told me to talk to the dealer which isn’t super helpful. Name is not Kelvin, nor Fahrenheit, nor Celsius.

Haha. I knew a guy who went by Boo Radley online. Figured you weren't him, but worth the ask.

Shit happens on an assembly line. I worked on the line at FOMOCO in the 70's. They built a truck and painted it 2 different shades of red. The lead painter looked at the body tag for the color and painted the hood and down the driver side, another guy painted the roof, third guy was supposed to look at what the lead guy did. Instead he painted it a different shade of red on the passenger side and tailgate. It made it past paint, trim and chassis line, literally hundreds of workers, to the Final Inspection Line. I happened to cross the line to grab some forms. I looked at the hood of the truck and then crossed behind it and realized they were different colors.
They would build entire shift's worth of vehicles without a crucial part and stack them outside until they received them. 61 cars an hour and sometimes the lines never stopped.

You have to work any warranty claim through the dealership first. That is just the process. Working from corporate back down to the dealership is not how they are setup to handle such things.

Thanks - I’ll do that - here’s a better pic in the daytime.

could someone else with a 2024 USA based RR post a picture of theirs?
That to me looks like a wrong door switch panel was fitted for sure! Looks like its for a Ranger that doesn't have power mirrors. 100% take this into the dealer, it is the wrong part. I'm sure the wiring is all there, they just need to swap out the switch panel with the correct one

Update: service mgr at the dealer where i purchased has ordered the correct switch panel, but it is on back order with no estimate yet for restock.

My working theory is that this was a part shortage, and they put the known incorrect panel in so that the truck could ship.

That is being too nice. There is plenty of delivered quality escapes that lean into just plain incompetence on the factory floor.

This is the lamest cost cutting I've ever seen. I'd be heading back to the dealership, get it sorted out.

Hi all -

New RR owner here. I’ve looked in the manual for this already, but the manual is …. Not great, and I’m unable to find an answer to this.

I know how to set the RR to automatically fold the mirrors when I turn off the truck. But is there a way to do this manually while the engine is on? Sometimes I need this (at least in our SUv) to get closer to my parents’ mailbox at the end of their dirt road, etc.

I cannot find a button or a screen that lets me do this! The button shown in the manual doesn’t exist in my truck!

TIA.
So what happened with your mirror button?
