I doubt it was undefilled diff oil. The whining sound it makes when low on diff oil is very obvious (especially when up at speed) the low diff oil was only a thing on Thai build rangers and only on the very first batch (2022 models)

Yeah…. You’re not in R mode unless you double press. There’s even a message box that pops up stating you need to press it twice to confirm going into R mode

It’s still early days mate. Give everything a chance to bed in and for the computers to figure itself out and calibrate everything. You’re still well within engine break in period too you’ll have a better idea of a normal fuel usage after 2,000 miles or so

J Braces was sorted from the factory from September 2024. It’s not a thing you need to worry about anymore unless it’s a pre September 24 model

As an engineer this 100% is not an engineering fault. It’s the bean counters. An engineer would always prefer to over engineer something rather than design something to a price So please go easy on us engineers. Blame the board room wankers instead please
