As an engineer this 100% is not an engineering fault. Itâs the bean counters. An engineer would always prefer to over engineer something rather than design something to a price
So please go easy on us engineers. Blame the board room wankers instead please
I canât even hear them on the 3.0 - I added a vent to atmosphere BOV so I could at least hear the boost they make⊠(probably the single best and easiest mod Iâve done)
Why risk it? Forscan is purpose built for Fordâs software. Even if it did work, I doubt it would be as stable? You risk bricking your entire vehicle if thereâs any communication dropout
Itâs also free to download and use so why not just use it?
Cold air intakes definitely work - much better than a hot restricted intake. But weâre not talking stock air boxes here. Weâre talking aftermarket intakes. And all aftermarket intakes arenât going to do much unless youâre tuning for that particular air intake. Luckily for us Fordâs stock airbox...
You wonât gain anything from doing this. The amount of increased air youâre talking is insignificant and also youâre running the stock airbox. Even with more air coming in the stock airbox canât do anything with it.
also without a custom tune, more air wonât equal more power (even with an...
If itâs happening all the time my first thought is a simple wheel alignment is needed.
donât need to hit anything for the alignment to drift. Howâs your tire wear look? Even thread wear across the whole surface? Even wear across all 4 tyres?
If youâre only cruising why not just put it back into normal mode?
Iâve never used Cruise control while in sports mode - kinda defeats the purpose of sports mode??
The 5th gen âRaptorâ over here was only a trim upgrade - all terrain tyres, lift and body styling was all it really was. It had the basic diesel engine and leaf spring suspension that all the other trims had. It wasnât a proper Raptor
