I figured it didn't get the greatest gas mileage but 6 gallons in 80 miles my 2012 f 150 2.5 got twice the mileage

Going up hill both ways?

After about 1800 miles I have been getting 18 to 21'ish depending on my right foot and where I am going.

My first few hundred miles were around 14-15 mpg. I was shocked!
But it improved as the novelty wore off and I didn't play around so much. Also it seemed to improve around 5-6000 miles.

We did an 8600 mile road trip over 7 weeks, averaged 18.5 overall.
Worst tank was 15.2, best tank was 21.4

In local daily driving I typically see 16-17. I do basically zero hwy miles daily driving. It's sitting at 1/4 tank at 17.3 right now. It's hard not to goof off and this thing can suck fuel!

BTW My 2014 F150 5.0 got 15-16 daily and 21-22 hwy.

How much taller than the cab are those bikes? That can suck a lot more mpg than you would think.

I have about 6K on mine an my avg is up to almost 19. The first few tanks were 16ish. I drive it easy an it's mostly rural driving without a lot of stop an go.

Yeah something not right. Even when I’m off-roading and hitting the dunes I don’t even get anywhere near as bad fuel usage as that

I just drove to the east coast (1000 miles) and got 22 mpg average doing 80-85. My F150 with the same engine would be looking at 18-19 mpg.
